RUAKAKA BOARDING
BOARDING
Our purpose-built boarding facility is located in our Doggy Daycare location in Ruakaka. Conveniently located 5mins off the State Highway, we offer individual dog kennels. Some individual kennels with access indoor and outdoor and others located within our Daycare building.
Staff are located on-site when dogs are boarding to ensure dogs are happy, healthy, clean, fed and toileted at scheduled times.
Whether its Summer or Winter, our facility caters to all sorts of weather and enables your furry family member to have a holiday in comfort.
WHAT TO BRING?
We do prefer that you provide your pets own food (enough for their stay) in a sealed container with clear meal instructions.
It is also nice to have that smell of home either with blankets/beds or toys to allow for an easy transition while away from home.
Doggy Town provides all bedding and bowls aswell as a some quality kibble while your furry family member is staying with us if you would prefer. Food provided by Doggytown is $5/night per dog.
Payment for boarding is required on or before check-in for your pets stay. No exceptions.

Ruakaka Boarding
$45/night per dog
Overnight Boarding + Daycare
Kennels are separate from the daycare and your dog can be taken to daycare if you choose. $45 per night per dog. Public holidays (Fri-Mon) and peak season (Dec 15- Jan 31) incur a $5 per night surcharge). $100 non-refundable deposit is required during Public Holidays and Peak Seasons. Pets must be up-to-date on all vaccinations as well as Kennel Cough and Leptospirosis vaccinations are highly recommended, with proof of vaccination being required at or before check-in. No booking changes are allowed within 48hours of check-in. Cancellations could be subject to a cancellation fee. Boarding is for a 24hour period. i.e. Dropoff in the morning, pickup in the morning.
Pickup & Drop-Off Hours
Mon - Fri
8am - 10:30am or 3pm - 5:30pm
Sat & Sun
8:30am - 10:30am and Afternoon pickups and dropoffs by appointment only and may incur a daystay fee.
Pick-ups after 10:30am will incur additional daystay fee for that pick-up day ($30.00).
Overnight boarding is very limited, particularly during Public Holiday weekends and Peak Season, so please plan ahead and contact us early to book your pets stay. We are CLOSED on Public Holidays, no pickups or dropoffs on Public Holidays.
All prices include GST.
Beds and Bedding is provided by Doggy Town, however if you want to provide beds or bedding, we can accommodate this. Please note that sometimes these items may not be returned in the same condition they were delivered in. Sometimes it is nice for your dog to have a smell of home.
We do feed either Royal Canin Professional Sensitive Stomach during your pets stay or Ultra Fish & Rice for Sensitive Stomachs at a charge of $5/day per dog if you do not provide food for your dogs stay.
