Doggy Town is excited to be able to offer a fun farm stay experience for your furry family members. Limited space is available.
Our farm stay offers a dedicated Barn-Style kennel stay area which includes covered play and lounge area for those relaxing times or rainy days.
Weather dependent, we have a wonderful stream and pond to play in during the day as your pups run and play in the grass if they have off-leash recall. Lots of fun to be had in our Dog Arena also. Sticks a plenty, who knows what we might find as we are out exploring.
All of the creature comforts ofa relaxed stay at our Doggy Town Private Residence.
You provide the food enough for your dogs stay in a sealed container with clear instructions. We provide the bowls, beds and bedding but you are welcome to bring something from home for added comfort. Just note it may not go home in one piece!

Farmstay Boarding
$45 per dog / day (24hours)
Farmstay Overnight Boarding
Kennels are located in our purpose-built Barn-style facility. Each dog has its own room in our barndominium.
Public holidays (Fri-Mon) and peak season (Dec 15- Jan 31) incur a $5 per night surcharge). Pets must be up-to-date on all vaccinations as well as Kennel Cough and Leptospirosis vaccinations are highly recommended, with proof of vaccination being required at or before check-in.
The Farmstay is located in Springfield on a working 50acre farm with stock including Sheep, Cattle and pigs aswell as our own Doggytown family dogs.
Pickup & Drop-Off Hours
Monday - Friday; 9am - 11am
All arrivals and departures are by appointment only so we can anticipate your arrival and departure.
Dropoffs and Pickups are from our Ruakaka Daycare facility at 25 Innovate Road, Ruakaka. Not at the farm.
Saturday & Sunday; 9am - 11am
All arrivals and departures are by appointment only so we can anticipate your arrival and departure and due to having limited space on our driveway.
Farm location: 867 Springfield Road, Springfield 0178
NO TRAILERS/CARAVANS up the driveway. If you are towing, you will need to walk your dog up the driveway for drop-off/pickup. You can un-hook at Springfield Domain tennis courts if there is space along the flats before you get to the farm.
Need a time outside 9am - 11am? We may be able to accommodate this. Please note that there will likely be a late dropoff/pickup fee associated with this.
We are not currently offering any sniff and play or meet and greet sessions at the farm. Unfortunately this is too disruptive for our boarding dogs and home dogs. We can meet you and your dog at our Ruakaka Daycare facility after 5pm by appointment.
Overnight boarding is very limited, particularly during Public Holiday weekends and Peak Season, so please plan ahead and contact us early to book your pets stay.
All prices include GST.
Bedding & Food is provided by Doggy Town, however if you want to provide your own food and bedding, we can also accommodate this. Sometimes it is nice for your dog to have a smell of home and also remain on the same food. We do feed Royal Canin Professional Sensitive Stomach during your pets stay.
